Senior Estimator | Industrial & Commercial

3D Recruitment are partnering with a well-established Industrial builder growing their Melbourne team. They are seeking an experienced Estimator (4–5 years) with a focus on Industrial and new build estimating! To join their growing, progressive and high-performing environment. You will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a diverse project portfolio

WHAT YOU GET

• $120,000 - $160,000 + Super (Depending on experience)

PROJECTS

• Industrial projects i.e. Warehouses, storage units and factories 
• Child care centres & Schools
• Multi level residential 
• High end fit-out & Refurbishments

THE ROLE

• leading detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Measuring and pricing using Cubit
• Managing subcontractor pricing and negotiations
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and scope documentation
• Identifying cost risks and value engineering opportunities
• Assisting in post-tender clarifications and handovers
• assisting juniors in their development 

YOU

• 4-5 years’ experience in estimating within commercial construction
• Strong new build projects experience 
• Retail project experience (highly regarded)
• Proficiency in Cubit, Blue beam and estimate one 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A team-oriented mindset and strong cultural alignment
