3D Recruitment are searching for an experienced Estimator to join a hugely successful Tier 3 Builder in Melbourne.

Having been in operation for almost 2 decades, our client stands as a privately owned construction firm with robust financial backing and a Victoria-wide foot print. They specialize in three key domains: refurbishment, construction, and fit-outs, handling projects with budgets stretching up to $20 million. Their project portfolio spans various sectors such as VSBA work, healthcare, community, commercial, and light industrial projects. Presently, we're seeking a Intermediate to Senior Estimator to join their seasoned preconstruction team.

- New build and refurbishment projects within diverse sectors including Commercial, Hospitality, Education, Government, Light Industrial & more
- Project ranging from $1m - $20m
- Preparing bill of quantities, gathering quotations and scope of works
- Detailed take-offs.
- Read and interpret Architectural & Engineering Drawings.
- Mentor junior members of the team
- Delegate and Manage other team members.
- Assist with tendering on multiple projects concurrently.
- Work within a team environment as well as operating autonomously.
- Gather and manage the tender documentation ready for submission.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards and prices.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Have impeccable time management practices
- Ability to effectively negotiate with subcontractors without undervaluing them
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Essential to have experience as an Estimator in the Melbourne Construction or Fitout/Refurb Industry
