3D Recruitment has partnered with a well-established Australian commercial builder with over 40 years of industry experience delivering projects across the education, community, health, and childcare sectors. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and oversee the successful delivery of projects across Melbourne.

As a privately owned builder, they specialise in education, community, childcare, health, commercial, and industrial developments. Backed by a collaborative team and a strong pipeline of work, they are recognised for delivering projects safely, on time, and to an exceptional standard while building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

THE ROLE

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects from planning through to successful completion.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Oversee contracts, project schedules, budgets, variations, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams to resolve project challenges and drive progress
• Lead and mentor site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality management requirements across all projects.

YOU

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, project budgeting, programming, and cost control.
• Sound knowledge of Australian construction practices, WHS legislation, and quality management systems..
• Experience with structural steel, precast and reinforced concrete structures
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Jobpac, MS Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• A proactive leader who can mentor teams, solve problems effectively, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Looking for a long-term opportunity and willing to commit to the project through completion
