THE ROLE - Support the delivery of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) outcomes across multiple commercial construction projects by providing practical advice, coaching and compliance support.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve HSEQ systems, policies, procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements and company best practices.
- Conduct site inspections, safety walks, audits and incident investigations while monitoring corrective actions, risk controls and overall HSEQ performance.
- Partner with Project Managers, Site Managers, Contract Administrators, subcontractors and clients to drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across all projects.
- Manage HSEQ reporting, compliance and leading indicators using platforms including HammerTech, Procore and Power BI, ensuring accurate documentation and timely action close-out.
- Support quality assurance, environmental management, contractor compliance, training and accreditation programs while contributing to the successful delivery of complex commercial construction projects.
YOU - Minimum 3+ years' experience in Building/Construction HSEQ, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation, ISO standards and HSEQ management systems.
- Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations, with the ability to implement and monitor corrective actions.
- Confident managing HSEQ documentation, including SWMS, permits, project HSEQ plans, policies and compliance records, while supporting subcontractor compliance and client requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors and clients.
- Proficient in HammerTech, Procore, Microsoft Office, and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
