Site Manager

3D Recruitment has partnered with our client to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a cold shell café conversion within an operational convention centre. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, interpreting construction drawings, ensuring works are delivered in line with project requirements, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and programme. The role also requires strong client-facing communication, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the project is completed efficiently with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

WHAT YOU GET

THE ROLE

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of a commercial café fit-out, overseeing site activities from cold shell through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operations, ensuring works are completed in accordance with construction drawings, project requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, compliant and well-organised site within a live operational convention centre, minimising disruption to ongoing building operations.
• Liaise closely with the client, project team and building management to ensure clear communication and efficient project delivery.
• Monitor site progress, construction sequencing and project documentation to keep works on programme and to a high standard.
• Drive the project through to successful completion while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction.

YOU

• Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fit-out and/or refurbishment projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documentation.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and managing day-to-day site activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional client-facing approach.
• Strong commitment to OH&S and experience working safely within live operational environments.
