Site Foreman

3D Recruitment is representing a nationally operating commercial fit-out, shopfitting and refurbishment contractor to appoint an experienced Site Foreman for projects across Melbourne. This is a hands-on opportunity suited to a confident Site Foreman who can coordinate trades, subcontractors, deliveries and site activities while maintaining programme, quality and safety across fast-paced fit-out environments..

Our client is a nationally operating commercial fit-out, shopfitting and refurbishment contractor that has been delivering projects across the retail, hospitality and office sectors since 2003.
The business provides end-to-end project management, coordinating every stage from planning and approvals through to construction and handover. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes for major national brands, supported by dedicated project management teams and a focus on transparent communication, reliable delivery and completing projects on time and within budget.

THE ROLE

• Take ownership of day-to-day site operations across commercial fit-out projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and site activities.
• Ensure works are progressing in line with programme, quality and safety requirements.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing and coordination of multiple trades.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet project specifications.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively to maintain project progress.
• Maintain a safe, organised and productive site environment.
• Work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, clients and other project stakeholders.

YOU

• Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Foreman or similar within commercial construction or fit-out.
• Experience across retail, hospitality, office or refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics and trade coordination.
• Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades on site.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with trades and stakeholders.
• Practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach to site management.
