3D Recruitment has been partnered with a leading Australian contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to their Melbourne team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex projects within a technically driven business, working across major infrastructure, defence, industrial and remediation environments.

THE ROLE

• Take senior-level ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
• Lead project teams across complex construction, remediation and infrastructure environments.
• Manage programme, procurement, cost control and commercial performance.
• Coordinate Site Managers, Contract Administrators, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, variations and emerging issues.
• Maintain oversight of quality, safety, financial performance and construction progress.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams throughout delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and capability of the Melbourne project team.

YOU

• Senior Project Manager experience within the construction, infrastructure or specialist contracting sector.
• Strong experience delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders and technical requirements.
• Strong Defence project experience will be highly regarded and is particularly well suited to this opportunity.
• Proven ability to manage project teams across planning, procurement and delivery.
• Strong commercial understanding across budgets, contracts, variations and project controls.
• Excellent knowledge of construction programmes, risk management, quality and delivery processes.
• A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to drive project outcomes in complex environments.
