THE ROLE - Manage procurement and subcontractor engagement across commercial construction projects.
- Obtain, assess and negotiate subcontractor quotations.
- Review pricing against project budgets and identify commercial opportunities.
- Prepare and issue subcontractor documentation and work orders.
- Assist with variations, progress claims and payment processes.
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate commercial records.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support the project team with commercial advice and contract administration.
- Maintain strong documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilise Procore, Cheops and Hammertech to manage project administration and processes.
YOU - Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of procurement, subcontractor management and cost control.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Confident managing subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills..
- Able to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a project team.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.
- Proficient with construction project management and contract administration systems.
