They are seeking a commercially minded Contract Administrator to take ownership across procurement, subcontractor management and project administration, based in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs.

THE ROLE - Manage contract administration across construction, fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Manage procurement and subcontractor engagement.
- Obtain, assess and negotiate subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare and issue subcontractor documentation and work orders.
- Assist with variations, progress claims and payment processes.
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate commercial records.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Support project teams with commercial advice and contract administration.
- Maintain strong documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work autonomously and take initiative across day-to-day project requirements.
- Utilise Cheops, Aconex, Hammertech and Excel to manage project administration and processes.
- Build the skills and commercial knowledge required to progress into Project Management.
YOU - 4–6 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of procurement, subcontractor management and cost control.
- Experience across fit-out, refurbishment or development projects.
- Strong initiative with the ability to work autonomously.
- Confident managing subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Cheops, Aconex, Hammertech and Excel
