Based in Melbourne's Inner Suburbs, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major construction projects across a diverse portfolio. THE ROLE

• Lead the delivery of major commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Manage project teams, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Take overall responsibility for project cost, program, quality and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project programs, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor engagement and major project packages.
• Oversee variations, progress claims, contractual matters and project reporting.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring issues are addressed proactively.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to Project Managers, Contract Administrators and wider project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, systems and construction processes.

YOU

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Strong experience delivering major and complex construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience across commercial, residential, aged care or leisure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, contracts, procurement and project controls.
• Commercially astute with strong financial and cost management capabilities.
• Confident leading project teams and managing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and develop project teams.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project requirements.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
