They are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of the on-site delivery of a major education development in Melbourne's North-West Suburbs.

THE ROLE

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a major three-storey education project.
• Supervise and coordinate site activities from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site personnel.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project plans, specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor project progress, program and site productivity.
• Coordinate deliveries, installation and construction activities associated with modular building components.
• Manage site safety, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction.
• Identify and resolve construction issues proactively to minimise delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with site documentation, reporting, inspections and project records.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered to the required standard.
• Maintain a well-organised, safe and productive construction site.
• Support the project team through to successful practical completion and handover.

YOU

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager or Foreman within commercial construction.
• Strong experience delivering commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site coordination.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and construction quality standards.
• Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive site performance.
• Modular or prefabricated construction experience highly regarded.
