We’re seeking a driven and curious Assistant Development Manager to join a growing development business delivering projects across residential, mixed-use, industrial and commercial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and work closely with senior leaders on high-profile developments.

With a lean team of subject-matter experts, they deliver residential, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial projects valued between $20m and $80m, managing almost every aspect in-house with minimal outsourcing. As an Assistant Development Manager, you’ll gain full lifecycle exposure from acquisition and funding to delivery and handover, within a close-knit, entrepreneurial team where initiative, curiosity, and a hands-on approach are highly valued.

PROJECTS

THE ROLE
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of multiple developments from concept to completion
  • Support feasibility studies, due diligence, and financial modelling
  • Coordinate consultants across design, planning, engineering, and surveying
  • Liaise with councils, authorities, and contractors
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and milestones
  • Prepare internal reports and stakeholder updates
 
YOU 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Planning, Construction, or related field
  • Graduate to 2 years’ experience in development, consultancy, or related sector (site or technical exposure valued)
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work across a diverse range of projects and sectors
