We’re seeking a Client-Side Project manager to oversee a range of upcoming industrial and large format retail developments across Melbourne. The role offers exposure to both active projects and early-stage planning opportunities within a growing pipeline.

THE ROLE
  • Manage full project lifecycle across commercial, industrial, and retail developments.
  • Lead coordination between consultants, councils, and internal teams to secure approvals and progress design.
  • Oversee preparation of design and construction documentation in collaboration with architects and engineers.
  • Engage closely with the internal construction team to optimise buildability, cost, and delivery outcomes.
  • Drive project programming, team coordination, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Monitor budgets, identify risks, and recommend value-add opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with planning, zoning, and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver clear project reporting and support informed decision-making at senior level.
YOU 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Property, Project Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in client-side project or development management, ideally with exposure to construction delivery in commercial, retail and industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of design development, authority approvals, and construction processes.
  • Skilled in managing consultants, stakeholders, and internal delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects through design, approvals, and delivery.
  • Commercially savvy, with a keen eye for cost management and reporting.
