We have partnered with a leading residential and land developer to recruit a Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a hands-on role delivering one of the most exciting masterplanned projects in Melbourne’s south-east.
THE COMPANY You’ll be joining a vertically integrated developer-builder with a proven track record in delivering large-scale masterplanned communities from acquisition through to sales. With several projects exceeding 1,000+ lots and incorporating schools, parks, and community facilities, this is your chance to contribute to a legacy development shaping the future of the region.
This role will see you work closely with an experienced Development Manager on a flagship 1,200-lot community, gaining exposure to all stages of the development lifecycle. The business is well-resourced, with in-house sales, construction, landscaping, legal, and finance teams – plus their own plant, equipment, and site crews.

THE ROLE - Support the delivery of a multi-stage, large-scale residential subdivision
- Assist with feasibility modelling, budgeting, and project reporting
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to keep works on track
- Oversee on-site progress for civil, road, water, and landscaping stages
- Monitor and manage project timelines, risks, and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless delivery
YOU - 2–4 years’ experience in property development, project management, or consultancy (civil/engineering background highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of the land subdivision process and technical site works
- Proficient in feasibility modelling and comfortable with numbers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised, and capable of managing your own workload
