WHAT YOU GET

- Mobile Phone & Laptop
- Work alongside a Pre-Construction Manager & Senior Estimator
- Repeat clients with some blue chip developers across commercial & industrial
- Car Showrooms, Warehouses, Logistics Facilities, Factories, Storage Facilities, Retail Parks, Service Stations - ALL D&C Projects
- Project ranging from $1m - $20m
- Preparing bill of quantities, gathering quotations and scope of works.
- Use CostX software to complete pricing & detailed takeoffs.
- Read and interpret Architectural & Engineering Drawings.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
- Delegate and Manage other team members.
- Assist with tendering on multiple projects concurrently.
- Work within a team environment as well as operating autonomously.
- Gather and manage the tender documentation ready for submission.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards and prices.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Have impeccable time management practices
- Ability to effectively negotiate with subcontractors without undervaluing them
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Essential to have experience as an Estimator in the Melbourne Construction or Fitout/Refurb Industry
