THE ROLE

You will be responsible for shaping accurate, competitive cost estimates from early tender through to final pricing, working across fit‑out and refurbishment projects in Melbourne.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects
• Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications to identify risks 
• Collaborate closely with the pre‑construction and project delivery teams to refine scopes and pricing strategies
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes
• Contribute to bid strategy, value engineering, and margin analysis
• Support contract negotiations and respond to post‑tender enquiries

YOU

• 3-5 years experience in estimating within the commercial fit‑out 
• Strong understanding of construction methods, cost structures, and risk management
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and services documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially astute with high attention to detail
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
