The Junior Estimator will support the full tender lifecycle from tender through to award and handover. This role is perfect for someone looking to build estimating skills across documentation review, quantity take‑offs, subcontractor engagement, and tender submission management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review tender documentation and define project scope
- Prepare trade-specific scopes, RFQ packages, and Bills of Quantities
- Source and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Maintain tender registers and subcontractor databases
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Assist with tender costings, submissions, and post-tender clarifications
- Support project handover and contribute to cost reviews and improvements
- Recently completed a construction-related qualification
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Confident communicator and team player
- Good with numbers and proficient in Excel
- Motivated, organised, and eager to build a career in estimating
