We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex aviation projects for one of Melbourne’s most reputable client-side consultancies. Acting as the client’s representative, you’ll manage the entire project lifecycle in highly regulated, live operational environments.

PROJECTS
  • Terminal upgrades, expansions, and refurbishments
  • Airfield infrastructure and civil works
  • Aviation facilities for government, commercial, and private operators
  
THE ROLE
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, and program
  • Coordinate approvals and engagement with airport authorities, airlines, regulatory bodies, and government entities
  • Oversee design, procurement strategies, contractor engagement, and delivery methodologies
  • Manage project budgets, funding approvals, and financial reporting
  • Act as client representative during delivery, ensuring safe and compliant works in live environments
  • Ensure adherence to aviation safety, security, and compliance requirements
  • Mentor junior team members and enhance delivery frameworks
  
YOU 
  • 5–10 years’ project management experience, ideally client-side
  • Proven track record delivering aviation or terminal projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience with government bodies and airport operators
  • Excellent commercial, contractual, and risk management acumen
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and reporting skills
